How long have you had this store?
I bought it over five years ago. It had been a member of one of the major banner groups for around 25 years.

You joined the H Hardware Group 
in March 2010. Why?
We wanted to be able to buy at the right price and we got that with HBT. I didn’t like that someone else controlled my business and getting out of the catalogues freed up more capital for us to use in the business.

What about the new brand?
We wanted a brand that showed we were established, credible and serious. The H Hardware brand does that for us.

How has implementing the new 
H Hardware brand worked for you ?
We are seeing a lot of new customers. Store traffic is up. 
Sales are up.
